THE LDNA NOTECARD SET
The LDNA notecard set was created to champion, encourage and be part of a tradition that has timeless sentimental impact, and that creates meaningful connection with your community. After all, how many times do you revisit a WhatsApp message vs keep a handwritten card on a mantelpiece, treasured in a box, or frame the artwork. We were aiming for the latter hence the artwork has been carefully constructed with an artistic vision in mind.
The collection of notecards features four of our tasteful and aesthetically appealing designs. The set comes with 8 notecards (2 of each design) with envelopes included. WINDOWS
The LDNA figurative logo is cleverly positioned side-by-side, with a slight shift in alignment creating a captivating visual effect. The hypnotic pattern is reminiscent of orderly windows of a skyscraper or tower block. Furthermore, we love how the negative and positive spaces of the logo perfectly align, casting a shadow effect that adds a touch of drama to the design, almost like the enchanting golden hour. This LDNA notecard design represents our own graphic illustration of architectural forms familiar to London buildings.
PHONETIC
The word ‘Londoner’ has been written using the phonetic alphabet. With the letter ‘e’ written in reverse and upside down, and alongside the use of symbols and punctuation, this alphabet totally transforms the word, instantly giving it a design aesthetic. We appreciate how this version conveys a subtle yet intentional message. It exudes thoughtfulness and the visual appeal that underpins all the designs in the LDNA notecard series.
GEOMETRIC
The inspiration for this design draws from geometric mid-century design, as well as the Bauhaus movement. We have forever been captivated by artwork from those eras - the way in which bold and simple forms are used to produce refined and stylish images. It was only natural for us to create something of equal impact and aesthetic allure. By cleverly juxtaposing the LDNA figurative logo, we have successfully crafted a motif that conveys our deep affection for London. To further accentuate the pattern and make it truly eye-catching, we ingeniously inverted the colours of the logo resulting in a visually striking outcome.
CONFETTI
Discover a unique twist in our design! While the other LDNA notecard designs place the figurative logo in a consistent and structured layout, we decided to embrace the complete opposite approach with this design. The LDNA logo is playfully scattered across the notecard into an arrangement of whimsical randomness. Then to add a touch of dreamy depth and dimension, we have variation in the sizes of the logo. The feel of this design is cheerful, fun and light-hearted, just like confetti. We hope you enjoy it!
